Media Miss (Press Statement x Grandissima)

Result: 11/01/24 - 1st Whanganui

Champagne Sunday showed what he is capable of with what turned out in the end to be an easy win. Never sure of which Champagne Sunday will turn up on the day, we had nothing to worry about with his front running for back better than ever.

Result: 26/03/23 - 1st Masteron

Media Miss broke maidens at start 7 today, beating home a small but competitive field at Tauherenikau. Taking charge at the 400, she broke clear and was almost run down late but showed a brave heart to hold on for win #1.

GQ (21).jpg

Glide Queen (Alamosa x Tai Chi Queen)

Result: 09/04/21 - 1st Manawatu

Excellent front running ride was the winning of todays race at Awapuni. Leading from the front basically the whole way, GLide Queen proved too quick over the 1200m distance for all including our other running Champagne Sunday who came 4th.

Mr O'Reilly (O'Reilly x Belle Fleur)

17/10/20 - 1st Penang Turf Club

Penang R3

Three on the trot now! Another great front running victory. Stealing a break on the turn, he put 6 lengths on them until the legs got a bit tired as a result of backing up so quick. That and he was carrying 6kg more than the 2nd placed horse. Belle Fleur has a Proisir filly on the ground for us and shortly to drop a Jon Snow foal!

Mr O'Reilly (O'Reilly x Belle Fleur)

11/10/20 - 1st Penang Turf Club

Penang R8

Mr O'Reilly goes back to back winning his 2nd in a row . In a race run almost identically to his last win, he jumped well, took over at about the 800m and ran away from them with ease. Great result for our mare Belle Fleur, her Proisir filly we have in the paddock and the Jon Snow foal she is soon to drop for us!

Savannah Cloud (Savabeel x Annie Higgins)

13/09/20 - 1st Cranbourne

Savannah Cloud (Savanbeel x Annie Higgins)

Cranbourne R2

Going out $1.80 favourite, Savannah Cloud at just start number three showed plenty, winning by 5.5L easing down. Annie Higgins the dam is the only half sister to our very own Belle Fleur - plenty to like about the future of this family!

Mr O'Reilly (O'Reilly x Belle Fleur)

12/09/20 - 1st Penang Turf Club

Mr O'Reilly (O'Reilly x Belle Fleur)

Penang R2

Finally his first win on the board! After previously winning and being relegated under protest, this time round proved no problme for the son orf our mare Belle Fleur. He had them covered reasonably easily after the turn and never looked in danger.

30/08/20 - 1st Sunshine Coast

Weboughtazou (Zoustar x Princess Emmy)

Sunshine Coast R5

SNice first win for the son of Privacy, who is a half sister to the Puccini filly Rosa (Puccini x Bremer Bay) we recently purchased. Sitting well off then, a beautifully timed run saw the 4yo gelding win with relative ease at the hands of Kyra Yuill. A good sign of things to come.

Midge Maisel (Ocen Park x Testella)

Result: 15/03/20 - 3rd Woodville

Midge Maisel (Ocean Park x Testella)

Woodville R5

Solid run for the daughter of Testella in the 5th at Woodville. In a small but even field she galloped well and showed enough that a little more distance will be right up her alley.

Weboughtazou (Zoustar x Princess Emmy)

Result: 06/03/20 - 1st Sunshine Coast

Weboughtazou (Zoustar x Priness Emmy)

Sunshine Coast R2

Dominant performance justifying his $1.20 favourite price. Bringing up win #4, the result is nothing but good for the 3 offspring we have in the paddock out of Princess Emmy's half sister Pentina.

Jimmy James (Savabeel x Annie Higgins)

Result: 15/11/19 - 2nd Ruakaka

Jimmy James (Savabeel x Annie Higgins)

Tidy effort and good back up to his last start win. He is still quite green and a little unsettled as they ran for home, He will only improve again on this race and all looks good for a bright future for the gelding out of Belle FLeur's half sister Annie Higgins.

Bruno Stars (Thewayyouare x Rhyme)

Result: 14/11/19 - 2nd Awapuni

Bruno Stars (Thewayyouare x Rhyme)

Awapuni R5

After a change of ownership and stables, it's taken Bruno Stars a few runs back to see his form  return. Stepping up in distance certainly helped and with a clear run would have won. Congrats to new trainer and connections Craig Ivil.

Result: 30/10/19 - 1st Te Aroha

Jimmy James (Savabeel x Annie Higgins)

Te Aroha R2

Great result breaking maidens for the 4yo gelding out of Annie Higgins - the half sister to our mare Belle Fleur. Going out second favourite, the money was on point as a nice ride from Sam Collett bought up win number one, and I'm sure the next is not far away.

Flash One  (O'Reilly x Sentura)

Result: 21/9/19 - 1st Selangor

Flash One (O'Reilly x Sentura)

Selangor R4

Sentura the daughter of our late mare Trickery was to the fore again on the international stage with her O'Reilly son Flash One just taking out race 4 in Malaysia. That's win number 7 for the 8yo who is out the half sister to Trixie by Danger Looms we have in the paddock.

Mr O'Reilly (O'Reilly x Belle Fleur)

Result: 21/9/19 - 4th Selangor

Mr O'Reilly (O'Reilly x Belle Fleur)

Sleangor R9

Tidy effort and best placing to date for the son of our recent purchase Belle Fleur. Competitive throughout the race he sat off the leaders back throughout before battling on at the close. He will take improvment out of the race and sure to be close up next start.

Holburt (Tavistock x Sentura)

Result: 20/9/19 - 1st Kyneton

Holburt (Tavistock x Sentura)

Kyneton (AUS) R6

Very nice first win today for Holburt (Tavistock x Sentura) in Australia today, leading from go to whoa. The two runs this prep have shown he was desperate for more ground and stepping up to the mile today he duly delivered. Out of Sentura (out of our late mare Trickery) this is positive for Trixie the yearling half sister to Sentura

Nice win for Bruno Stars (Thewayyouare x Rhyme) yesterday at Otaki. Nicely ridden by in form apprentice Sam O'Malley he came from last at the 600 to be way to strong. Good result also for our mare Rhyme and her Road to Rock filly Dora

Very nice win for Happy Hitter today (Swiss Ace x I'mhighlydelighted) and trainer Peter Lock. The 5yo half sister to our El Roca yearling (in pic) out of a lovely mare we purchased at Karaka ended up winning quite comfortably. All goes well for a few more wins on this effort!

Master Poet (Mastercraftsman x Rhyme)

Master Poet (Mastercraftsman x Rhyme)

M4 Singapore R2

Master Poet the 3yo gelding out of our mare Rhyme came from last to have the field covered easily and break maindens at Wangaui.

Covering the most ground of any horse, he looks like he might be a regular in the winners circle soon.

Odi Et Amo (Danger Looms x Frisky Dansker)

Result: 30/6/16 - 1st Wingatui

Odi Et Amo (Danger Looms x Frisky Dansker)

M6 Wingatui R6

Odi Et Amo capped off a good last couple of runs today with a great performance to break maidens at Wingatui today. Showing that he would like even more ground than todays mile, "Dan" hit the front where it counts the most and while not good for the heart, was great for his faithful band of supportes!

Lake Huka (guillotine x Royal Cashel)

Result: 24/6/16 - 1st Singapore

Lake Huka (Guillotine x Royal Cashel)

M10 Singapore R8

Lake Huka bought up win number 3 for his owner / trainer Laurie Laxon on Friday night. Coming from off the speed he was able to negotaite traffic and finish too strong for the competition and take his winnings to over $100k SPD.

Bang (Danger Looms x Kilitristran)

Result: 21/04/16 - 1st Woodville

Bang (Danger Looms x Kilitristan)

M4 Woodville R8

Fresh up from a summer spell, Bang showed that 1600m was no problem when he came from well back on the turn through traffic to claim the last at Woodville today. Jockey Matt Cameron said he could have gone around again and he had trouble pulling him up. A good sign that when he gets over his preferred 2000- 2200m he will be quite a handful for the competiton!

Notionannigans (Kings Chapel x Annie McBride)

Result: 21/04/16 - 1st Woodville

Notionannigans  (Kings Chapel x Annie McBride)

M4 Woodville R7

Notionannigans makes it win 3 for the career and win 2 this campaign. Taken straight to the front by jockey Robbie Hannam, she was never headed.

Kicked clear at the turn and did enough to hold off the fast finishers. Nice result for the Grand-daughter of our mare Royal Cashel.

Odi Et Amo (Danger Looms x Frisky Dansker)

Result: 14/04/16 - 3rd Wingatui

Odi Et Amo (Danger Looms x Frisky Dansker)

M6 Wingatui R2

After showing plenty in training, Odi Et Amo put his first hoof in the till with a solid run for 3rd at Wingatui. Taken straight to the front to keep out of trouble, he fought on well on a journey which was always going to be too short (1200m).

Pleasing signs for things to come from Odi.

Lake Huka (guillotine x Royal Cashel)

Result: 20/09/15 1st (Singapore )

Lake Huka (Guillotine x Royal Cashel)

M18 Singapore R2 #2

In almost an identical replay of his first outing, Lake Huka managed to finish one better and break maidens. Despite giving the 2nd and 3rd place getters plenty of kg's difference (5kg and 10kg respectively) he managed to come from near last to run them all down. Still a bit green and will take improvement from this run.

Capella

Result: 05/03/16 - 4th Grp 1

Capella  (Rip Van Winkle x Limerick)

Group 1 NZ Derby

What an eyecatching run from the half sister to our broodmare Rhyme (Spinning World x Limerick). Giving them 6L at the 200m mark she flew home to just miss out, finishing 0.5L off them in a great finish to the big race. Now heading for the Austrlain Oaks in Sydney and must rate a big chance.

Mourinho (Oratorio x Benvolent)

Result : 26/09 1st Grp 1 Underwood

M12 Caufield R7 #5

Probably the toughest test to date and he came through with flying colours. 3rd at the turn, he ranged up and held the challengers at bay. A great finish with 3 in the photo, and Mourinho holding on by half a head. Stakes earnings grow to over $1.3m AUD. Great result for our mare Bellisent and this family.
